We believe that God's Word takes root early, and that families and congregation share in the privilege of passing the faith to the next generation. At Zion, we are committed to supporting families as children and teens hear the Gospel, learn the Scriptures, and are brought up in the faith they received in Baptism.

Whether you're new to church or have been worshiping for years, your family is welcome here.

Sunday Mornings for Children & Youth

Sunday School (Nursery–High School):
Following worship and fellowship time, we offer age-specific classes for all children and youth—from our littlest learners to high schoolers. Each class is designed to meet kids where they are, helping them understand the Bible, ask questions, and grow in faith through engaging, age-appropriate teaching.

Children’s Church (PreK–Grade 3):
During the sermon portion of the 9:00 AM worship service, younger children are invited to a special time of Bible teaching just for them—returning to the sanctuary before Prayers and Communion.

Cry Room & Nursery Space:
We love having little ones in worship! If you need a quiet space during the service, a cry room/nursery is available near our Sunday School classrooms where you can still follow along with the livestream service.

We know visiting a new church with children can feel overwhelming. Our greeters and children's ministry volunteers are happy to walk you to the right rooms, introduce you to other families, and make sure your children feel safe and welcome from the start.

Additional Opportunities for Children Under 18:

Kids for Christ (K.F.C.)

Pre-K through 5th Grade

Kids for Christ is a place where our youngest members learn what it means to live as forgiven people. Through service projects, fellowship events, and Bible-based learning, K.F.C. gives children the chance to serve, play, and grow together in a joyful and faith-filled environment.

K.F.C. meets periodically throughout the year during Christian Education hour on Sundays and for other special events.
L.I.G.H.T. Youth Group

Living In God’s Holy Truth – Grades 6 through 12

Zion's youth group is a place where teenagers can be real, ask hard questions, and be encouraged to live as disciples in their everyday lives. Through regular gatherings, service opportunities, and Bible study, our youth build strong relationships with one another and with the God who claims them in Baptism. world around them in meaningful ways.

L.I.G.H.T. meets most Sunday evenings at 6:30pm at Grace Haus.
